Langtang Gosainkunda Sundarijal Trek is situated 140 km north of Kathmandu valley in Langtang region. The trek offers an opportunity to visit three places; Langtang Valley, Gosainkunda, and Sundarijal at the same time. The 18-day long trek of Langtang Gosainkunda Sundarijal trekking takes you through the remote and stunning valley of Langtang, holy lake, and glaciers of Gosainkunda and beautiful nature of Sundarijal. The main highlight of trek includes Langtang Villages, Kyangin Gompa, Tserko Ri, Langshisha Kharka, Gosainkunda Lake, Tarke Ghyang Monastery and Sermathang Monastery.
Langtang Gosainkunda Sundarijal Trekking provides an opportunity to explore the eye-catching view of Himalayas, pristine valley and diverse ethnic-culture. It is a trek through long steep trails, dense forest filled with oaks and rhododendrons, amazing landscapes, meadows, panoramic view of Himalayas, and most popular lakes such as Gosainkunda, Sara Swati Kunda, and Bhairav Kunda. The trek also takes you to Langtang valley which provides an opportunity to experience the unique culture and tradition, fascinating history, lifestyles of local Tamang and Sherpa people of Thulo Syabru, Langtang village, Kyangin and many other villages. Up further in Kyangin we get to visit the famous Buddhist monastery named Kyangin Gompa surrounded by the panoramic view of Mt. Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gaurishankar (7,134m), Yala Peak (2,039m), Gang Chhenpo (6388m), Naya Kangri (5846m) and Dorje Lakpa (6966m). The view of the mountains from Kyangin Gompa is spectacular which are worthwhile for nature and mountains lovers. The Trek then takes us to Gosainkunda, the sacred holy lake for Hindus and Buddhists which is well known for its purity and magical healing powers. Thousands of visitors visit the lake mostly in the full moon night in the month of August. Our last destination Sundarijal is one of the awesome places in Nepal with lots of waterfalls.
